Fotografie di architettura e i Sony World Photography Awards

Dopo il grande successo dell'edizione 2014 dei Sony World Photography Awards, con quasi 140mila partecipanti da 166 paesi ovvero da tutto il mondo, i lavori di tutti i finalisti sono ora in mostra nella Somerset House di Londra. Il premio fotografico Sony, World Photography Awards 2014, ideato dalla World Photography Organisation con la sponsorship di Sony, è strutturato in tre categorie: Professional (fotografi professionisti), Open (fotoamatori e studenti di fotografia) e Youth (sotto i 20 anni).

Molto nutrita la sezione “Architettura” con risultati che sottolineano ancora una volta l'importanza fondamentale della fotografia nella comunicazione dell'architettura. L'immagine prende il posto della descrizione testuale, facendo incontrare lo spettatore direttamente con le creazioni dei progettisti.
